Griplas Engineering operate seven injection moulding machines. We welcome many types of injection moulding work such as sub-contract moulding, tool trials, single cavity, multi cavity, insert and over moulding and small to mass production quantities.

A range of products we manufacture are made from a newly developed bio-degradable material which we have developed with our suppliers to meet the customers’ requirements.

Using computer aided manufacturing software (CAM) and CNC machines we are able to produce a variety of components to meet the tightest of tolerences and turn-a-round times our customers expect.
We can manufacture one off parts for enthusiasts or produce components in multiple batches.
To ensure we meet our objectives of giving the customer the best product possible we are constantly investing in machinery.
Custom Punch & Die sets are large part of our machined products which get used in very different industries from pyrotechnic manufacturers to the food and drink industry. These can be hardened and coated to the specifications required.

We work with a variety of materials such as plastic, brass, copper, aluminium, stainless, mild steels, stainless steel, low to high carbon tool steels
Using CNC machining we can produce parts quickly with high accuracy and quality finish. To meet these requirements we have invested in the lataest CAD and CAM technologies which allows us to take a CAD drawing from many different file types inlcuding DXF, IGES, CATPART, STEP and STL to name but a few.and enter these into our CAM program and start machining.
Capable of grinding all Metals, Coatings and coverings on Rollers, Shafts and cylinders to fine tolerances.
Surface grinding produces an extremely flat finish and used to machine a part to size where high tolerances are required.
We have a range of manual machines that are able to machine to tight tolerances due to our highly experienced engineers operating them.
EDM Spark Erosion
SPARK Erosion or die sinking is especially good at producing complex geometric forms to high precision. It can also machine difficult to cut materials for example hardened steel, titanium, tungsten carbide.
